The time is now. It is about time that there was a forum for those of us who are willing to tell the truth about what happens after the altar call: it is not a cakewalk but it is a life full of meaning and purpose.

“Alter the Altar Call: A Young Black Woman’s Journey of Faith” covers my life from 1996 to 2003. However, I will always be in a state of post altar call because like the old hymn states, I have still decided to follow Jesus – even today. Obviously, up until this point, it has not been the Lord’s will for this book to be published, but in the meantime and even after the book is published, I think blogging about my experiences post altar call is where the Lord has called me to be on this book publishing journey. I hope you don’t mind sharing your experiences and maybe we can travel this journey together. J
